When Tom Heintzelman was on staff he always told the story of
“The Cremation of Sam McGee”
at either the opening or the closing campfire. He really got into it and always recited it
with much passion. Years later, former staffers still talk about this. In addition he had a fantastic singing voice and taught both campers and staff quite a few songs. -Steve Sarver |
