Bob Chockley was a staffer at Camp Lowden in the 1940's and 1950's who later became a professional Scouter. Bob passed away in 1998. In 2005 his widow, Geraldine, graciously provided us with a large box of Camp Lowden items, such as staff yearbooks, staff listings, camp brochures, newspaper article, photographs, etc.

Among this material was a photo of Governor Lowden at the dedication ceremonies in 1940; the Handicraft Lodge (original trading post) shortly after being moved from Rockford, plus 14 negatives of old camp photos from c.1946. We would like to thank Mrs. Chockley for sharing this remarkable collection.
