Camp Lowden Alumni Patch

There has been a feeling for some time that there should be a patch for Camp Lowden staff alumni. Now, for the first time ever, we have such a patch. This patch is based on the “Amaquonsippi-style” staff patches of the 1950s and 1960s (the black patches with red lettering and a campfire scene). This patch design was used through c.1972 at which time it was discontinued. We initially brought back the design for the 2005 reunion and now it is the design for our alumni patch. Also, for the first time, this design is fully-embroidered.

The intention is that, upon the completion of every summer camp season, those who are completing their first summer as a staffer will be presented with an alumni patch. Starting with the 2007 reunion, all current staffers will get one patch, and former staffers will have the opportunity to purchase one patch (exact procedures still to be worked out as of this time).
