Camp Lowden Alumni Patch

For many years there was a feeling that there should be a patch for Camp Lowden staff alumni. We now have such a patch. This patch is based on the “Amaquonsippi-style” staff patches of the 1950s and 1960s (the black patches with red lettering and a campfire scene). This patch design was used through c.1972 at which time it was discontinued. We initially brought back the design for the 2005 reunion and it is now the design for our alumni patch. Also, for the first time, this design is fully-embroidered. One patch was given to each current or former staff member who attended the 2007 reunion. The intention is that, upon the completion of every summer camp season, those who are completing their first summer as a staffer will be presented with an alumni patch. Only one patch will be given per staff member. Former staff members will also have the opportunity to purchase one patch (exact procedures still need to be worked out as of this time).
